Pelletized Lime Treatment for a Healthier Lawn
With regular applications, lime can transform your lawn by creating the ideal conditions for lush, green growth.
Pelletized Lime treatments are essential for maintaining a healthy and vibrant lawn as they effectively balance soil pH levels, which is crucial for optimal plant growth.
By adjusting the acidity or alkalinity of the soil, lime ensures that essential nutrients are accessible to plants. This significantly improves nutrient absorption, and enhances the overall health of your soil.

Lime Treatment
Get the Most Out of Your Fertilizer
Fertilizer loses effectiveness in acid soils. Using fertilizer by itself contributes to soil acidity.
When soil pH is controlled with lime, nutrients are made more available allowing fertilizers to work efficiently to provide long-lasting, deep green lawns.
Reduce Growth-Choking Thatch
Lime slows the growth of the thatch layer (roots, decomposed stems, other plant parts) that becomes a barrier to air, water, and fertilizer. Thatch also harbors diseases and insects.
Lime encourages microbial action that breaks down thatch.
Reduce Moss
While lime itself doesn't directly kill moss, applying lime to mossy areas raises the soil pH, creating conditions less favorable for moss growth and promoting healthier grass growth.
Safeguard your lawn from grubs.
In recent years, numerous individuals have observed significant damage to their lawns, attributed to an unusually large population of Japanese beetle grubs.
The extent of the damage varies, with some lawns showing minimal impact while others have suffered considerably. Experts predict that infestation is expected to be equally severe, if not more so, this fall.

Benefits of Pelletized Lime
Mess-Free & Effective – Unlike traditional powdered lime, our pelletized formula dissolves gradually with rainfall, avoiding dust and residue.
Safe & Easy Maintenance – Lime is non-burning and doesn’t require immediate watering. Simply continue your regular watering schedule.
Mowing-Friendly – Our lime granules stay in place, so mowing won’t interfere with the treatment.
Long-Term Benefits – Lime works slowly to adjust soil pH, leading to healthier grass, better nutrient absorption, and improved lawn resilience over time.

What are Grubs?
Grubs first appear in late summer, when adult Japanese Beetles lay their eggs in your lawn. These newly hatched worms (grubs) work their way through the thatch and into the soil, where they begin to feed on the roots of your grass. Grubs do their greatest damage during the fall months. Lawns also suffer significant damage at this time of year from animals higher up in the food chain (skunks, crows, etc.) that dig in the lawn in search of grubs to eat.
As the weather cools, grubs burrow deeper into the soil for the winter and return to the surface to feed again as the soil warms in the spring. After this spring feeding, the grubs pupate into adult beetles and begin the cycle again.
Because they are a sub-surface insect, grubs are difficult to control once they infest a lawn. The best treatment is to prevent them from entering the lawn in the first place.
